About Kaidoku

Built in Tanzania. Built for Africa. Built for the world.

Kaidoku is a browser-based genomics platform built around Kaidoku AI Agent—a conversational assistant that helps you plan analyses, choose tools and pipelines, and interpret results in plain language. Behind the agent sit curated tools, production pipelines, and documentation aligned with what you run, so teams get reproducible results without managing clusters or bespoke installs.

Founded in 2024, Kaidoku started from a simple frustration: students and labs had the science but not the infrastructure. We set out to bridge coursework and real analysis—same agent-first experience in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, and partner institutions abroad.

At the center is Kaidoku AI Agent: describe your goal in plain language—variant calling from exome data, RNA-Seq differential expression, metagenomics profiling—and the agent suggests the right workflow, walks you through parameters, and helps you read the output. Under the hood we ship quality control and assembly, RNA-Seq quantification toward differential expression and pathway enrichment, metagenomics profiling, variant calling, and population-genetics PCA—each run logged with parameters you can revisit. That is the product: an AI-guided path to credible methods, clear scope, and outputs you can cite and reproduce.

Our vision
